• Verification Data: For safety, we utilize selfie liveness verification. These verification scans are processed securely and deleted immediately once verification status is confirmed.
• Images: Photos you upload for your profile. Your photo-locking settings dictate who can view these photos.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Create and maintain your founding waitlist profile.
• Enable our proximity grid features, allowing neighboring users to discover your card based on your selected interests.
• Ensure platform safety, verify user authenticity, and reduce catfishing or automated bots.
• Send launch announcements, early access invites, and updates about platform availability in your city.

3. Photo Privacy and Lock Controls

Kinnred provides a unique privacy mechanic: **Optional Photo Locking**. If you enable Photo Lock in your privacy settings:

• Your profile card details (name, age, distance, bio, and interests) remain visible to help others discover you.
• Your photos are blurred by default on the local grid.
• Your photos will unlock automatically the moment you accept their chat request or ping. You retain full control over who sees your unblurred image.

4. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties. Your location is only exposed as an approximate distance radius (e.g. "600m away") to other verified users on the grid.

We employ premium security measures to protect your database entries. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we encourage users to practice safe sharing habits.
